These pieces narrate the action of protest in America, primarily those of the Jan. 6 insurrection and the BLM protests. I want to address how privilege is placed on race, how the actions of those on Jan 6 deserved more consequences.

The insurrectionist fighted for misinformation, are Republicans, and a majority white crowd. On the other hand, the “opposite” would be BLM because they are fighting for a real cause, lean more left politically, and are more diverse in gathering.
