Trash Day

2023
7” by 15”
Etching
Trash day serves to illustrate a memory of childhood in which the endless cycle of being forced to wake up early began. The only things I remember are Sesame Street, my mom tugging clothes on me, along with the sounds of garbage trucks outside with the clatter of the large metal cans of the early 2000’s. Once I went out to get on the school bus I remember seeing giant metal giants of cans scattered all over the block.
